Exercise: People-watch

The random name #1: Lowell Mellark.

PLACE: MAKAN PLACE, TIME: 6:19pm

• wering a blue t-shirt and checkered shorts, he puts his arms behind his chair giving me the impression that he may be a tough person to face. his hair spiked up. talking to his friend, he seems rather engrossed in what their saying. his laughing and smiling at the same time. they seem to be very excited about their conversation. his lightly beating his leg, he must be getting restless. he just takes out a phone and is looking through his messages while his friend talks to him. like i said, a tough person to face. might be considered as a arrogant and a fierce person. he gets back to his conversation again, but at the same time, texting every now and then. his friend ons his macbook and their both watching or looking at something now. his friend seems to be showing him something that might not interest him. still texting while they talk. finally, he pays attentions to him and now their both engrossed on his friends macbook. now his fully engrossed in what his friend is introducing him, he even points out a few point to his friend. might be a suggestion. ok, now he walks off with his friend out of makan place 🙂

The random name #2: Sayen Cornish.

PLACE: MAKAN PLACE, TIME: 6:30pm

• victim 2, “sayen cornish” is wearing a grey shirt with black strips which a 3 quarter jean like pants and sneakers. her hair is short with brown dye. she looks like shes still in year 1. sitting with her group of friends, she looks like shes the anti-social one. the one that is always quite. she doesn’t seem to be talking much at all. just slurping on her drink and eating her noodles while she listens to her friends. now shes talking. but not enough to keep up a good conversation. she slowly takes small bites on her noodles as she picks up her phone to text someone.. or what it seems like. she looks like she has trouble eating her noodles,  maybe its a bit too spicy for her liking judging from her actions which she wiping of the sweat. from what i observe she seems to be a woman of a few words. she doesn’t talks that much. only at times when her friends ask her questions. i assume from her actions that she is only joining her friends because she was called over by them. they all turn over at the same time looking at whats happening at that direction. meh.. i guess its nothing. she starts to laugh a bit. but i’m guessing its just a giggle. finally, they all leave the table. she trails along with them at the back. what a shy girl.

PART 2: What would People-Watch Character 1 do to People-Watch Character 2 to provoke him or her to an extreme action?

• Being the shy and quite girl, Sayen Cornish walks into the class nervously as she looks as left and right noticing the stares that her classmates gave her. As she scans the seats, she notices that there were no more available ones left. (As some of them HAD to put their bags on the available seats just to tell her “NO. i ain’t gonna let you sit here”) However, she had no other choice but to sit infront of the roudy gangsters of her class. Especially Lowell Mellark who is the head of the gang. He is known all over the school as the meanest and the most outrageous student ever. An ice cold feeling pierced through Sayen’s heart as she sits down on the ‘the point of no return’ sit. “hey monkey girl!” Lowell flicks her ear as she just shakes him off. “argh!” Sayen thinks to herself. “How am i going to concentrate on my studies with these hooligans around!”. Lesson went on as usual, but with the exception of Lowell disturbing her. Sometimes by pulling her hair, which she will let out a quite yell. And sometimes he calls her names and then disturbs her again. Sayens on the verge of spouting profanities at them when Mrs Trinket said,” Ok class! Its break time!” and then, everyone drags their chairs out and heads out towards the door. Sayen just sits there quitely doing her own work feeling rather fustrated. 15 minutes seems rather fast when everyone starts to stream back in. Just then Lowell flicked a huge centipede on her sleeve. Sayen still hasn’t notice it yet until he snaps at her. “Hey Sayen.. check out your sleeves!”. Just then, Sayen lets out a huge scream and “dances” around the room trying to shake it off, however, it still doesn’t comes off. Sayen lets out a huge cry and just then, Mrs Trinket burst into the room peeling it off from her. “Oh my goodness gracious!” Mrs Trinket yells. “This is a centipede is one of the poisonous breeds!” Lowell and his gang just pushes Sayen aside and walks out of the room. “Come back here!” Mrs Trinket yells at them. Sayen just balls up in one corner and bawl her eyes out.
